WHALE BELLY RELEASE “I WAS ONCE A BIRD”
Considered “sophisticated folk rock” by The New Yorker, brooklyn band Whale Belly, just released their sophomore album I Was Once A Bird. It’s available now on iTunes and Bandcamp. The record was produced, engineered and mixed by Nick Smeraski with initial tracking sessions at Saltlands Studio in late 2012. THE PERENNIALS VIDEO OF ELLIOTT SMITH’S “WALTZ #1” ON BROOKLYN VEGAN
On October 21st, The Perennials took the stage at Glasslands to perform 2 cover songs for the Elliott Smith Tribute Show presented by The Bomber Jacket and Saltlands. Here’s a good-lookin’ video of them performing “Waltz #1”.
