THE PERENNIALS “JONAH” IN “ALWAYS WOODSTOCK”

The independent film Always Woodstock premiered in theaters and iTunes on November 14th. The film was directed by Rita Merson and stars Katey Sagal, Brittany Snow, Ryan Guzman, James Wolk and Rumer Willis. Listen for The Perennials song “Jonah” from the album Stories. The Perennials are currently mixing a songs for an upcoming release produced by Thomas Bartlett (Doveman).

On October 21st, The Perennials took the stage at Glasslands to perform 2 cover songs for the Elliott Smith Tribute Show presented by The Bomber Jacket and Saltlands. Here’s a good-lookin’ video of them performing “Waltz #1”.

Brooklyn Vegan posted additional  video from the evening which was headlined by Cat Power.

THE PERENNIALS PERFORMANCE AT ELLIOTT SMITH TRIBUTE SHOW

The Perennials covered Elliott Smith’s “Waltz #1” and “Between the Bars” at Glasslands on Oct 21 for the Elliott Smith Tribute Show presented by The Bomber Jacket and Saltlands. It was an exciting line-up with Cat Power headlining, Sky Ferriera and Cole from DIIV, Yoni Wolf, The Low Anthem, Luke Temple, Aaron Pfenning, Marissa Nadler, Sadie Dupuis, Adam Schatz and Tereu Tereu.
